Fuck Hard Times in Woodbridge.

I was the DD one night and I was almost thrown out because the manager saw me “trip” on the carpet on my way to the bathrooms. I had been in the place for less than 10 minutes and had yet to receive my first drink or even order food.

Other than this, Hard Times in Herdon is cool cause they have Guinness on tap AND Old Rasputin in the bottle. UMMMM 8.9% alcohol by volume, Yummy!

I’ve only been to the Rockville location- but as it’s been around for over a decade I don’t think it can be classed with the “cheap knockoffs”. I never knew there could be so many options to chili, but that’s cause I’m uncultured. Chili, beer, no frills.

Hard Times has now not only opened other locations but has even started franchising. Ignore these cheap knockoffs. The reputation was built on their original Old Town Alexandria branch and it is significantly better than the others. Very good chili, very good selection of draft beer, no nonsense.
