Shamshiry

As kobi and shields say, the tea is good. I’ve only had one dish here, a chicken kabob with rice that’s flavored with orange peel (shirin polo, I belive — it’s the “imaginative honeybees” dish), but it is so good that I keep ordering it. Beware, the portions are huge. Also, I like the Persian ice cream, flavored with saffron and rosewater, but kobi’s not kidding; it is really, really, really sweet.

Ah, they do the tea right, here. They bring you a carafe- and when you empty it, they’ll bring another. Also, there are sugar cubes at the table. Bread is served first, so you have something to munch on while waiting for food. Mostly rice and kabob dishes, but all tasty. Desserts are all too sweet for humans to handle.

Persian. Best known for having very good tea and for their J. Peterman menu, which says of one dish that “it tastes as if it was created by imaginative honeybees.”
