2004-11-18 Within the genre of mainstream American “Italian” food, it’s probably the least offensive of the mega-chains. I’m not likely to choose to come here on my own, but it’s a heckuva lot better than the Olive Garden.

2004-08-24 Yet another restuarant on the “Oh, you’re vegetarian? Let me tell you about our fish special...” list. sigh One of the only things I be willing to eat is the Insalata Blu: bib lettuce, walnuts, red onions, blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. But for $7? I’ll just go over to Whole Foods and buy all of the ingredients and =not= deal with the “Italian butter” experience, thanks.

2002-12-26 Thinking about going to the Olive Garden? Go to the Macaroni Grill instead. Otherwise, a real restaurant is probably a better choice. I used to assume that “Romano’s” was just a stupid name like “Rosemary’s Thyme”, but it turns out it was actually created by a Phil Romano. He’s also the guy behind Fuddruckers and Eatzi’s. |
