Situated across from an MCI office downtown, my guess is that Singapore’s bread and butter are office lunchers and after work cocktails. If you don’t particularly care what you’re putting in your mouth, it’s ok. The dishes we sampled were pretty bland, yet still heavy. I had a vegetarian dish, and yet my stomach started rebelling half way through. There’s a pretty broad menu, and I suspect if I worked nearby I might still go in occasionally with coworkers, but it’s never going to be on my list of “I’m hungry, whats for food” restaurants.
The space is split weirdly over three levels, and the sound system seems to have an erratic volume knob. Also, I noticed the music that was playing outside was different from what was playing upstairs... they both sort of collided into one incomprehensible stream right by my table.
